Adam Brown
15+ years in product design, packaging design, development, and global supply chain. Adam's career spans the agency world through the Berlin Packaging acquisition — building direct manufacturer relationships across the US, Europe, China, India, Colombia, and Canada. He's led 300+ product and packaging launches from ideation through engineering and production, but the involvement never stopped at the factory door.
Across those launches, Adam was in the room for go-to-market planning, launch strategy, and growth — a key stakeholder alongside the marketing, sales, and creative teams, not just the supply chain. That's 15 years of seeing what actually moves product after it ships, which is why Headwinds doesn't treat product development and marketing as separate disciplines.
Adam builds things. Homes — he ran a residential construction company in the UK for five years. Gardens. Even flat pack furniture. Products are the thing he can build that the whole world gets to touch.

Tom Brown
14+ years in DTC ecommerce. Tom bootstrapped three Shopify brands to seven figures as a solo founder and helped other founders scale to eight figures.
He founded BRND Labs, a fractional Head of Ecommerce consultancy for Shopify Plus merchants, and has distilled what he's learned into courses and a newsletter reaching 2,000+ DTC founders.
Notable past hands-on work has included James Gin and Doc & Glo. Shopify, Meta ads, Klaviyo, CRO — the revenue engine.
Tom has never been comfortable with mediocre or status quo. A puzzle maestro since the age of five, he's wired to analyze what's in front of him and find the path beyond where others settle
